Dave earned his nickname, “The Rammer,” playing football for Thompson Valley High school, and it's still with him today. After high school, Dave took accounting at UNC and served 4 years in the US Navy doing payroll accounting in San Diego; Dave then moved back to Loveland where he did outside sales for Collins Cashway Lumber and has since been hired on at Herbies as a Sales Associate and Bankruptcy Specialist. Dave is a devoted husband and loving father; you can catch him watching the Loveland Rage, his daughter's softball team. Dave's interest in sports doesn't stop there – he also officiates softball and basketball for the City of Loveland's Adult Athletics program and has operated a fantasy football league for the last 19 years (in addition to playing, of course). Be sure to ask him about his fantasy team: he was the league champion in 2005.

Here are a few tips for you:

1. replace the windshield wiper blades and make sure the windshield washer reservoir is full (do not use water)

2. have the battery serviced (clean the battery terminal ends and add water)

3. check tire pressure on all tires (tires may become low as the tempature drops) make sure the spare tire has air

4. keep the gas tank as full as possible to prevent moisture from freezing in the gas lines

5. put together an emergency winter kit for the trunk of your car: blankets, gloves, ice scraper, small snow shovel, flashlight

What a wonderful time of the year. I have been out shopping the last couple of nights and and what a joy. I’m really looking forward to Christmas this year spending time with friends and family.
